Artur Kozlowski, Ph.D., professor of the institute

Manager and scientist with 20-years experience in management. PhD of technical sciences. Professional experience in team management as well as the management of financial and intellectual capital gained during 20 years as a manager and chief executor of R&D projects and implementation projects, both in Poland and abroad. Mr Kozłowski uses fresh approach to challenges and long-term experience of an R&D manager in the implementation of new projects/technologies and in fulfilling the R&D strategy.

Mr Kozłowski has served as member of steering committees of projects related to IT, telecommunications, power engineering, new technologies, and security, e.g. National Scheme for Evaluation and Certification of IT Products Security according to Common Criteria; Regional Cyber Security Centre, Public Administration Catalogues. He is a member of many associations, technical committees, scientific committees, organizational committees, scientific boards, expert boards, and technical commissions. He holds official functions in some of them.

Mr Kozłowski graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice – specialization: Processing and use of electrical energy. He also completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science of this university in the range of computer networks, microcomputer systems and databases as well as postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Organization and Management in the range of modern organization management methods. Apart from that, he took up training in such areas as financing of science, commercialization, technology transfer and project management.
