On June 17, 2024, in the Rector’s Office of the University of Economics in Katowice, the Łukasiewicz – EMAG institute signed a cooperation agreement with the Cyber Science Consortium. The aim of this cooperation is to counteract deepfakes and strengthen cybersecurity.
In an era of growing threat of disinformation and fake content, such initiatives are key to ensuring online security. Łukasiewicz – EMAG, together with the University of Economics in Katowice, the University of Silesia, the Silesian University of Technology and NASK, will develop research and projects aimed at protecting users and educating the public about the dangers of modern technologies.
